China’s Sany Heavy Industry, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of construction equipment, has purchased three giant bending presses from LVD. The heavy-duty, high-technology equipment is destined for Sany Heavy, which already has more than 40 LVD-HD machines in house.
The two 2000 t/14,0 m PPEB-H press brakes and one 3000 t/14,0 m full-featured press are a key part of the new state-of-the-art telescopic boom production cell at Sany Heavy Industry, part of the SANY Group in China.
The order is the largest project ever in LVD’s history, which remains firmly rooted in the family business. LVD stands for the first letter of the family names of the active shareholders, Lefebvre, Vanneste and Dewulf.
